Timarron is a representative democracy. Each Neighborhood elects its own Voting Members (“VM”). The VMs represent their Neighborhoods to (1) vote for the Board, (2) remove Board Members prior to the end of their term, and (3) approve by supermajority any changes to the Governing Documents (e.g., Declaration).
Each Neighborhood is allocated one Voting Member for every 50 homes, rounded up to the next highest whole number. There are 40 Voting Members for the 17 Timarron Neighborhoods. Voting Members cast votes on behalf of the homeowners in their Neighborhood. The number of votes cast by a Voting Member is determined by a formula (number of homes divided by the number of VMs elected) with the result being “one home, one vote.” The following table identifies the allocation of Timarron Voting Members by Neighborhood.
