Committee Purposes
 
The following table identifies the committees that have been created by the board and brief description of the purpose of each.  The board also has the discretion to create advisory councils to help advise them on specific topics. 
 
 
Committee Name Purpose
Communications Suggest and prepare written information for delivery of interest to the residents of the Association.
Facilities Monitoring and assessing the condition of all physical assets of the Association.
Finance Advising and assisting the Board of Directors in developing annual budgets and managing the Association's financial assets.
Landscape Monitoring Timarron's common grounds to ensure they are maintained at consistent, high-quality appearance. The committee makes recommendations to the Board of Directors for improvements, updates, and enhancements to those common grounds.
Modifications Collecting, evaluating, reviewing, and passing determination on all requests for modifications, additions, and alterations to the exterior portion of homeowner properties.
New Construction Defining and publishing the Design Review Guidelines, which are clarifications and enhancements to the rules that were included in the original declaration. The committee also reviews and rules on requests for variances that arise out of Modification Requests.
Social Plan and deliver social activities and events for all residents that helps promote a sense a community.
Tennis & Pickleball Advising the Board of Directors on the use and maintenance of the Association tennis and pickleball courts.
Water Managing the association's water system.
 
 
 
Volunteer Application
 
Nearly all committees are looking for interested volunteers and will readily welcome new members. The exceptions to this open invitation are the Modifications Committee and the New Construction Committee. Both of these committees are limited by TOA’s Declaration to a total of 5 members each. Openings to each of these committees are announced by the Board of Directors and filled according to a schedule and process they will set.  If you are interested in joining one or more of the committees, please submit the following application.
 
 
 
Meeting Schedules
 
Committee and council meeting schedules are determined by their members. Please contact the committee or the Management Team in order to learn of the next scheduled meeting and whether the meetings are open to the membership.
