The Board of Directors (“BOD”) meets monthly at the Wentwood Clubhouse. In accordance with Texas Property Code (“TPC”), the agenda for each meeting is sent to homeowners at least 144 hours (6 days) in advance of a regular meeting (or 72 hours in advance of a special meeting) via the email addresses registered in the
Owner/Resident Portal. The BOD meeting typically starts with an Executive Session which is not an “open meeting.” An Executive Session typically deals with matters for which confidentiality is required or allowed by law, such as homeowner financial or enforcement matters, legal issues, business issues related to contracts with third parties, member discipline, personnel matters, to meet with members upon request to discuss matters particular to them, and so forth. The Regular Session is an “open meeting.” In accordance with TPC, an open meeting means a resident can observe, but not speak or otherwise interfere with the meeting. Board meetings are held to conduct the affairs of the Association. Homeowners are invited to address the BOD during the Owners Forum. BOD Meeting Reports are distributed to the email addresses a homeowner provided on the
