Info for New or Prospective Residents
If you are new to Timarron or perhaps considering a home purchase here, there is much to learn about setting up your life in Timarron. This site is primarily intended to inform you about the Timarron Owners Association (TOA), which is the homeowners association (HOA) that runs and manages this master planned community. Outside of Timarron, there is a city (Southlake or Colleyville), county (Tarrant), and state (Texas) with many services, rules, and procedures that will also require your attention and understanding as you are getting established.
Most of Timarron is in the City of Southlake. Two
Neighborhoods (Cascades, Chadwick Crossing) are in the City of Colleyville.
School districts in Texas are generally “independent” of any city or county and are known as an Independent School District (ISD). Most of Timarron is in the Carroll ISD (a.k.a., Southlake Carroll ISD). The Cascades Neighborhood is in the Grapevine-Colleyville ISD.
The City of Colleyville and City of Southlake have set up pages on their respective web sites to help convey information to new residents. As much of this information changes over time or is newly developed, even established residents can learn something new on these pages. While not a complete list, these pages include information on setting up utilities and trash/recycling collection service, locating and enrolling in public schools, signing up for emergency alerts, and the location of city offices. The links for both these pages are below:
